Introduction

To begin with, we would like you to briefly tell us about your organization.

A Place for All Hurting People (APFAHP) outreach ministry is a nonprofit organization. We seek support from local communities, businesses and grants as a platform to accomplish our mission. Our mission, as a non-profit organization, is to help bring love, hope, and self-efficacy back into the society for all hurting people.

1. What do you do exactly?

And what was the reason that encouraged you to start this organization?

What we do is incorporate different types of programs such as “The King’s Manna” in which we feed the hungry, donate clothing, personal hygiene items to flood victims and devastating geographical locations. In addition, we create a pleasant atmosphere of hope for people that have allowed themselves to become in an environmental addicted lifestyle that has cause a lack of substance. Another program is called Rise Above the Waters. We teach individuals how to escape poverty by identifying their own personal struggles and behaviors, their strengths and weakness, in order to become a productive citizen into today’s society, just to name a few. This is the name of our third program, it is called No-Reverse (Methods of Mechanisms) M.O.M. Our reason for starting this organization was we saw a need in the communities that we can help hurting people and people who do not know how to escape the pressures of life that they experience.

2. What motivates you? Describe your mission passion.

What motivates us is the challenge in resolving the conflict that oppresses other people. Let me explain. Some people really do not know how to deal with pressure. On the other hand, there are some people that are unfortunate than others that are afraid of life challenges. The main ingredient is prayer. We truly believe without a shadow of a doubt that prayer creates an atmosphere of hope.

3. Tell us about your goals.

Our short-term goals are to continue to educate people on how to starve hunger, counsel people with marital issues, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, the free gift of salvation, spiritual guidance, healing, bereavement, and abusive relationships. Our long-term goals are to obtain more funding to grow our ministry to help more hurting people.

4. What was the hardest/toughest moment you had to deal with?

Our obstacles to get people to see what we are doing is very important and that you should never give up on your dreams no matter if growth doesn’t come quicker than expected. Always be confident in yourself.

5. What was the most fulfilling moment that happened to you?

We did an outreach purse ministry to a women’s shelter, the smile on their face gave us more confidence, and that we can conquer more victories. The other one is being able to help the flood victims in Puerto Rico by sending them clothing, and fresh water.

6. What separates you from the rest? Why you?

First, we believe in ourselves and that there is no challenge that we cannot overcome because we are overcomers. We were born for these types of challenges and we are equipped in knowing how to orchestrate the need with the help of Jesus Christ.

7. Do you have any upcoming events in the forthcoming months?

Our next upcoming event for the ministry (W.W.W.) World Wide Worship is a spiritual uplifting praise and worship gathering that is designed to reach and teach individuals across the spectrum that desires a deeper encounter with God that will exemplify a sincere hunger for God and at the same token create a Wall of Prayer for one another. This Invisible Wall of Prayer protects us from demonic influences, distractions and from all types of legions that wants to harm us all, especially the body of Christ. This Wall of Prayer Campaign will be an answer to most of our prayers if not all our prayers. Therefore, as it is written in the Word of God which quotes: And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: so say YES to God and meet us here at Blue Mountain Christian Retreat. The purpose for this gathering is that we need to cry out to God together for his divine protection over America. We need to cry out to God now more than we ever have. Please, I ask of you don’t sit at home and miss your blessing. In closing, if you are as desperate for God like I am come join us and experience the power of God orchestrate his next move in your life.
